We cordially invite you to participate in the unique on a national and European scale project – the 1st Cracovian Forum of Viticulture, Enology and Vinotherapy VITI-ENO-PHARM 2020, which will take place on April 24-25, 2020 in Krakow. Following the example of the “Zakopane Days of Enology” (organized in the years 2005-2016), we set up a new platform for the exchange of knowledge and enological practice, as the result of cooperation of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Jagiellonian University Medical College with an expert group of enologists from the University of Montpellier, the French National Institute of Higher Education in Agricultural Sciences: Montpellier SupAgro and the Institute for Cooperation with Eastern Europe (ICEO, Institut de coopération avec l’Europe Orientale).

The main aim of the Forum is to summarize all the achievements of the oenological environment to date and to show directions for further dynamic development of the wine industry in our part of Europe. Within the VITI-ENO-PHARM 2020 project, a scientific symposium in the beautiful scenery of old Krakow is planned, as well as tasting workshops at the Jagiellonian University Vineyard “Nad Dworskim Potokiem” in Łazy near Bochnia. VITI-ENO-PHARM 2020 will therefore be a great opportunity to meet outstanding scientists and promotors of the art of winemaking. An unique asset of the Conference will be the issues of application of wine and wine-based products in Vinotherapy.

This invitation is addressed especially to the participants of the “Zakopane Days of Enology” and to graduates of oenological studies, as well as to anyone interested in the subject of winemaking and vinotherapy.
